Welcome!

Welcome to the very first edition of the Manifestology newsletter!

I’m so excited to guide you on this journey utilising current energies to their fullest, helping you turn your dreams into reality.

This first edition will be focused around the major cosmic event between now and the end of September: The Virgo Solar Eclipse taking place on Sunday, September 21st - and boy, is this an interesting one!

It’s crucial that we address a question that often comes up around eclipse season: Should we manifest during an eclipse?

Many teachers will advise against performing manifestation rituals during eclipse season and for good reason. Eclipses can bring sudden, unexpected, perhaps even destined changes into our lives (especially if they activate a specific part in your birth chart and this one is so complex that chances are high that it will). When the world around you is actively reshaping in such a dramatic manner, it’s not always a good idea to try to force it in a particular direction. Even if you’re successful, you may unintentionally end up sabotaging yourself because you did not have the full picture or understanding required at the time of the ritual. This is also why this edition of the newsletter will not feature a specific manifestation ritual, but they will be coming in future editions.

Here’s something we need to address, though: Manifestation isn’t something that comes with an on/off switch. Whether you’re aware of it or not, you are manifesting all the time. Every interaction, every tiniest “coincidence” or delay, every piece of information that comes your way (including all the stuff in this newsletter) is a manifestation of the processes happening deeper within you than we are even able to comprehend right now. Your world is a direct reflection of your inner-most beliefs. So instead of a formal ritual, this week you are getting a toolkit to help you ride the wave of the eclipse and quickly reorient yourself if life suddenly begins looking very different.

This newsletter is a labour of absolute love for me and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. You can email me directly at [email protected] - I’d truly appreciate hearing from you!

And if it turns out that you could really use some perspective and guidance to figure out what this Eclipse is all about for you personally, your personal chart holds the answer. I offer several different types of consultations if you need a hand understanding the rich information the stars provide us with. You can find all the info on my website.

Sending you lots of love for the weeks ahead,

Chrissy

As Above So Below: What’s Happening from September 14 - 28

The skies are going to busy during this time. Major ingresses, a paradigm-shifting Solar Eclipse and all of these painting geometric patterns on our night sky. To avoid losing sight of the forest for all the trees, we will focus only on the main events this time around.

September 16: Mars in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries - Old ego wounds are being stirred up. Healing can come through making amends and taking actions that promote fairness and balance.

September 17: Mercury in Virgo opposes Saturn in Pisces - A moment of tension where we grapple with what it means to have realistic expectations

September 18: Mercury enters Libra ushering in a period of easy networking and building of partnerships. Watch my latest YouTube video for an in-depth analysis and lots of practical tools & techniques!

September 19: Mercury in Libra opposes Neptune in Aries - Tension between wanting to keep the peace and standing up for your ideals. Venus also enters Virgo turning the focus onto the practical aspects of our relationships.

September 21: New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo opposite Saturn in Pisces - Read on to learn what to expect and how to prepare for this celestial spectacle!

September 22: Mars enters Scorpio and the Sun enters Libra - We are collectively drawn towards creating harmony and balance. At the same time we become willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal.

September 23: The Sun in Libra opposes Neptune in Aries - A day where suppressed anger or hidden resentment could bubble up and tip the scales on any situations or relationships that have been unbalanced.

Working with the Moon

The Moon starts in its home sign of Cancer on Monday, September 15 and finishes in adventurous Sagittarius on Sunday, September 28.

Chances are though, that we won’t be feeling the Moon’s individual sign changes as much as we usually do with the powerful energy of the Solar Eclipse… well, eclipsing pretty much everything else.

Just look at this eclipse chart. You don’t even have to understand astrology to see the geometric patterns showing up. Let me tell you: Charts rarely look like this.

Virgo Solar Eclipse 2025 / Location: Greenwich, UK

Any children born on this Solar Eclipse are sure to be very special and very, very different.

With this many parts of the chart being activated, either directly by the Sun and Moon or through major aspects like squares, trines, oppositions or either of the two yods, almost everyone will be directly affected in one way or another.

Eclipses in and of themselves often bring about fated events, but here we have so many elements pointing at this being taken to the max: The kite formation, the double yod (aka “Finger of God” which foretells destined events), not to mention the fact that it takes place in the final - often also called “fated” - degree of Virgo.

There is a time to push through discomfort, but this isn’t it. Key in on being gentle, patient and kind with yourself and with those around you. Emotions could fluctuate wildly and with this Eclipse taking place in Virgo, many of us could feel this one quite literally in our bodies.

Prioritise good sleep, good nourishment and hydration. Don’t force yourself to do things if your body says no - ignoring these signals could very well lead to accidents, especially if you are acting out of alignment with your path.

Follow this week’s techniques to emerge with clarity, no matter what chaos the world throws in your direction.

Chrissy’s Technique of the Week

You will often hear me compare astrology to the weather. The comparison works beautifully because it illustrates the point so well that astrology does not define you or make choices for you - but you will have a much better time with any of your endeavours if you at least keep an eye so you know whether to pack sunscreen or an umbrella.

Going with this analogy, then this week’s Solar Eclipse would best be described as a tornado thundering through your city centre. This is not to scare anyone - in fact, there will still be many of you completely unaffected by the eclipse in any personally meaningful way. Others could see their entire life shift in an unexpected manner. And even if you’re not personally affected, you will still need to grapple with the idea of finding your place in a rapidly changing world.

This is what we’re focusing on with this week’s technique. There is no point in putting all of our attention on trying to bring a specific goal to life when our priorities could very well change drastically within the next two weeks - not necessarily in a good way or a bad way, but in a way that’s significant enough that we could accidentally end up trapping ourselves if we don’t remain open.

Instead, we are learning a quick and simple practice that can be done anywhere to help you find your path again whenever you feel yourself knocked off balance.

Grounding Practice

When the energy around us becomes intense it’s easy to get swept up in all of the action and all of the chatter around us. To a degree that’s even necessary as a form of processing our emotions. We just want to make sure that we don’t lose connection with our intuition - that part of us that already knows why certain things are happening and the lessons and opportunities that have opened up through these events. Connecting with and trusting in that part is the highest form of surrender and the most powerful way to bounce back a hundred times stronger.

In this grounding practice I will show you exactly how to do that. Don’t forget to scroll down to this week’s journal prompts if you’d like to take this even deeper.

This can be done anytime and will be most useful during times of intense change. Do this every time before you make any major decisions to align yourself with your best personal path.

  • Start by breathing deeply in and out of your belly. No pushing or straining required, just take it to the point that feels good.

  • With your eyes open or closed, feel into your root chakra. It can be found at the tip of your tailbone. You may feel some light tingling, perhaps some cold or some heat or a gentle sense of pressure. You may feel nothing at all, that’s also ok.

  • In your mind’s eye, imagine a stream of energy from your root chakra going directly into the centre of the Earth. Some people imagine this as the roots of a tree, some as a waterfall, some as a laser beam or a piece of string. Play around with different visualisations until you find one that feels natural. Many versions are possible - my husband even said it feels like having Godzilla’s tail!

  • Imagine any heavy feelings, thoughts and emotions sinking down this stream into the centre of the Earth. There’s no need to feel bad about it - the Earth just recycles them the same way we recycle oxygen into CO2 for plants.

  • Feel this recycled, refreshed energy coming back up the stream and filling up your root chakra. Feel yourself filled with a warm, nourishing and comforting feeling, like a hug from a loved one or a sense of being held and protected.

  • Focus on this feeling and take it with you into your day. You can repeat this practice as many times throughout the day as you like.

Journal Prompts

Solar Eclipse Journal Prompts

This edition’s journal prompts are designed to help stabilise you during times of intensity. We are building a solid foundation so that we can re-evaluate and dive deeper into our needs next time.

These prompts will be powerful at any time, but if you do them before the Eclipse you may wish to return to them and see if any of your answers have changed after the Eclipse.

I also encourage you highly to make space for free-flow journaling over the next two weeks, especially in the mornings or evenings, to gain additional clarity.

  1. Where and when do I feel most like myself?

  2. Why is that? Is it the location? Is it who I’m with or what I’m doing? Is it a certain feeling or sensation?

  3. What are some ways I can bring more of this into my life right now?

  4. What am I devoted to right now?

  5. Do my daily actions reflect my answer to the above question?

  6. What’s one habit change I could implement to align my daily life more with my answer to question 4?

How to Follow the Fun

Best not to make any grand plans while the cosmic energies are powerful and volatile, but here are a few ideas for the next two weeks. Good things happen when you follow the fun!

  • Embrace Mercury in Libra energy with a crime novel or a rom-com. We now know how to appreciate witty dialogue more than ever!

  • Run yourself a luxurious evening bath and add epsom salts along with any other ingredients you desire. Venus in Virgo encourages us to beautify and value our bodies.

  • In the same vein, make the most out of delicious autumn produce. Fruit crumbles, comforting soups and stews are perfect at this time of year.

  • Make the most of the sense of refinement and style that comes with the Sun entering Libra. Plan some autumnal outfits or decorate your home with autumnal touches.

  • Invite your friends to a crafternoon to create autumnal decor together.

  • Mars in Scorpio loves solving mysteries. Try an escape room or spend a cozy evening in with loved ones and a game of Cluedo or a murder mystery kit

How I’m Living This

Generally speaking Eclipses are not a good time to be launching something new - so, knowing this, why am I launching this newsletter at this exact time? Wouldn’t it make sense to wait until the energy has calmed down a bit more?

Not always. I originally had the idea for this newsletter months ago, but always found some convenient reason or other to postpone it, telling myself I’ll do it when I’m ready. Slowly the realisation crept up that “ready” might never come, and that making real progress was a priority.

When you realise it’s time to do something that you’ve been putting off for ages around the Eclipse Season, follow that hunch. Do that thing. Life will often provide gentle nudges to point you in your next direction. Only when ignored for too long do they usually turn into experiences that are a bit more persuasive. Often times we only recognise these nudges with the gift of hindsight, but you can train yourself to become better at spotting them. Follow the hunches and watch your life unfold in often times unexpected, but ultimately beautiful ways.

That’s what I’m doing and it’s happening right as my progressed Venus enters my third house - symbolising thought-partnerships and beautifying communication. A few other progressions further expand on this theme. Current astrology gives us so much already underutilised information about the energies we are experiencing, but the image really starts getting sharp when combined with one’s personal transits, your personal filter and interaction with what’s happening.

If you’d like some guidance while taking things that bit deeper, I am offering a bunch of different options on my website.

I hope you enjoyed this first edition of the newsletter and gained as much from it as possible. Let me know what you enjoyed and what you’d like to see more of!

Meanwhile, I’ll be working on being flexible and keeping myself open to whatever this Eclipse may bring (including if it’s a big fat nothing!). If you’d like to keep up with me, you can follow me on my Instagram.

Until next time!
