Welcome!
Welcome back to this issue of the Manifestology newsletter!
This issue’s focus is on the New Moon in Libra taking place on October 21st. This moon invites us to create space for balance and harmony in our lives and is one of the best times to set intentions around relationships, whether romantic, platonic, or business-related.
Although the end goal of this moon is to create balance and harmony, the run up to the New Moon indicates that a few feathers may need to be ruffled in order to achieve this end goal.
Included in this issue is a very practical technique you can use for manifesting anything you desire more of in your life as well as a new framework to help you utilise this technique to its fullest potential. We also have lots of fun suggestions on tapping into the current energy as well as some incredibly powerful journalling prompts that will help you get crystal clear on what it feels like to already have what you desire and how to smash any roadblocks preventing you from being there right now.
Enjoy!
As Above So Below: What’s Happening from October 13 - 26
October 13: Venus moves into its home sign of Libra. Harmony within relationships becomes a top priority. Those with a tendency towards people-pleasing need to be extra careful not to disregard their own needs (read my blog post on this topic for some helpful tips)
October 14: In its new home, Venus immediately opposes Neptune in Aries and trines Uranus in Gemini. We could become disillusioned with our relationships to anyone we considered to be pioneering and courageous, making us think differently about them. Pluto stationing direct opens the door to more breakthroughs in science, technology, and humanitarian efforts, as well as personal transformations for anyone with planets in Aquarius.
October 15: Venus trines Pluto creating a Grand Air Trine with Uranus. The way we communicate becomes revolutionised. New ideas can spread rapidly from person to person.
October 17: The Sun in Libra squares Jupiter in Cancer. Beware of over-promising in hopes of pacifying other people. This tactic could backfire if promises cannot be kept.
October 18: The Sun in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries and Mars in Scorpio trines the North Node in Pisces. Relationship quarrels could surface old ego wounds. Tackling them head on rather than hiding away could lead to profound healing and a greater understanding of the collective.
October 20: Mercury conjuncts Mars in Scorpio. This is one of the most powerful days of the year for any shadow work. Therapy could lead to profound insights around this date. Alternatively, talk it out with a loved one you trust.
October 21: A New Moon in Libra while Mercury enters its pre-retrograde shadow phase. A potent time for forming new relationships or reinventing existing ones.
October 22: Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces. Lessons around dreams, ideals, vision or the subconscious mind that have come up in the last 12 years may resurface for one more final chapter between now and spring next year.
October 23: The Sun moves into Scorpio heralding the beginning of spooky season. The veil thins and we become more interested in the taboo, the dark and the paranormal.
October 24: The Sun in Scorpio squares Aquarius in Pluto while Mercury in Scorpio trines Jupiter in Cancer. Expect power struggles and rebellions. People will do what it takes to protect their homes and their families.
October 25: Mercury in Scorpio trines Saturn in Pisces. This is a highly beneficial aspect to become clear on your boundaries and communicate them with those around you.
October 26: The end of summer time in Europe. An extra hour of sleep this weekend heralds the beginning of long, dark, cozy evenings.
Working with the Moon
The symbolism we are currently seeing in the astrology is truly spectacular and this Libra New Moon is no different, albeit a lot softer than the last two lunations.
After all, this is the invitation of Libra: to make space for balance, harmony, justice and fairness. And if you need some help figuring out what needs balancing in your life, the astrological chart for this New Moon holds all the clues.
The most harmonious pattern we can see in an astrological chart is a Grand Trine - 3 or more planets falling in different signs of the same element, creating a perfect triangle. Their individual energies flow harmoniously and they support and complement each other easily and effortlessly. (In fact, those with a Grand Trine in their natal chart are sometimes accused of having it too easy with certain aspects of their lives and becoming lazy and complacent as a result, but that’s a discussion for another time…)
This New Moon doesn’t just have one, but two Grand Trines. One with Jupiter, Saturn/Neptune and Mars/Mercury all in water signs and another with Pluto, Uranus and Venus all in air signs. Emotions and words are expected to flow easily, gracefully and harmoniously.
There could be few better opportunities to have a heartfelt conversation with someone. This is Libra after all - the sign of relationships - and few things build stronger relationships than genuine, heartfelt conversations.
If you are looking to manifest new relationships, or deepening any existing ones, then this New Moon offers a highly potent opportunity to set some powerful intentions. Likewise, any new collaborations or partnerships that come in around this time bear a promise of high potential.
Here are some beautiful ways to tap into this energy:
Decorate your home with fresh flowers. Our eye for aesthetics is particularly sharp during this New Moon.
Wear pink, lavender or blue. Alternatively, light a pink, lavender or blue candle. These are the colours of romance, harmony and refinement.
Wear jewellery containing opal or rose quartz or carry one of these gemstones in your pocket. Opal, Libra’s birthstone, is said to bring financial success while freeing its wearer from jealousy and greed, while rose quartz opens up the heart chakra.
Make your own massage potion by combining almond oil and rose essential oil. Not only does this smell absolutely divine and nourishes the skin, almond and rose both resonate harmoniously with Libra energy.
Technique of the Week
In the last issue we briefly talked about how Libra season exemplifies one of the greatest paradoxes in manifestation: In order to create what we desire, we must simultaneously desire it while also being able to let go of our attachment to it. This is so much easier said than done! This issue’s technique is one practical way in which to let go of attachment, which will simultaneously help you step into the version of you which already embodies everything that you are currently manifesting.
I like to call this one the “little gifts” technique. But first, let’s explore a very interesting concept around the idea of giving.
The Abundance Threshold
With anything that we may give to others - whether that’s our time, attention, love, money, acts of service, or whatever else comes to mind - there is something I call the Abundance Threshold.
Perhaps this is something you’ve already observed in your own life. When your own cup is full, giving to others is not a problem. Let’s take the example of caring for a sick loved one - if you feel good and healthy, you have time and energy to give, your love for them seems to just magically replenish any energy spent on caring for them. It’s like new reserves emerge that you had no idea even existed. But if your own cup is empty, let’s say you’re caring for a sick one and you’re not feeling too peachy yourself, then you can feel your own energy draining so much faster, regardless of how much you push yourself to be there for them.
The reason for this is simple: When your own needs are taken care of, you are giving from a place of abundance. When you give from a place of abundance, the universe has no choice but to create more abundance in your immediate experience. But when your own battery is low, you are giving from a place of lack - and any action taken from a place of lack, no matter how well-meant, creates more lack. Manifestation is a frequency game - everything you manifest is a match to your frequency: your emotions, beliefs, the general vibe created by your mental landscape. The point at which the cup is filled, the place of balance if you will, is your personal Abundance Threshold.
But here’s the thing: The Abundance Threshold is not a static thing. Not only is it in a different place for everyone, it will be in a different place for you based on your own personal evolution, your astrological transits, what phase of your life you are in, and so on.
The Little Gifts Technique
This technique is exactly what it sounds like. We are going to look at what it is we want to manifest and then demonstrate to the universe that we are operating from the version of us that has already achieved this. Embodiment is the fastest way to manifest what you desire because it’s a shortcut to matching your frequency with that reality where what you desire already exists.
So, if you’re trying to manifest more money, go hide some money in a place where a stranger can find it. I personally love attaching a little post-it note that says something like “Today is your lucky day” or “The world is a good place”.
If you’re trying to manifest love, show some love to the people already in your life. Send them a text to tell them how much you appreciate them. Compliment a stranger with something genuine and heartfelt, or introduce some people to each other who you know will hit it off.
If you’re trying to manifest influence and prestige, spend some time promoting other people. If you’re trying to manifest confidence, help other people feel more confident. You get the gist.
Here’s the thing, though: Whatever you give to others, will come back to you in multiples, but only if you give without expecting anything back. You must give from a genuine place of abundance. This is where the concept of the Abundance Threshold comes into play again.
Before you start giving to others, take some time to reflect: Is your own threshold being met? Are the scales balanced?
If you have enough money to pay your bills and put food on the table, go ahead and give money to others. If you don’t, you must work on reaching your own threshold first. If that’s the case, create a budget for yourself and start looking for ways to create more income before you start sharing and donating.
If you can say that you love yourself without cringing, go ahead and spread love to others. But if you yourself don’t feel loveable, then this is something we must address first - otherwise you are only seeking validation in exchange.
By being totally honest with yourself about where your Abundance Threshold lies and making sure it’s topped up, that’s how you can give without expectation of anything in return. That’s how you create a life of massive incoming flow. That’s how you balance the scales of Libra and tip them in your favour.
Journal Prompts
Libra New Moon Journal Prompts
These journal prompts are designed to help you attract incredible connections while taking your current relationships to the next level.
We are rewiring your beliefs and your identity, helping you see connections between your current situation and your dream reality. We’re helping you subconsciously make decisions and take actions like the version of you that already lives the desired reality, so that you can easily move towards it without ever having to think about the how.
In other words, these are powerful. I can’t wait for you to try them yourself!
If there were no limits, what would the strongest, most beautiful relationship or collaboration feel like in my life? How would I show up - and how would I be received?
Which qualities do I most crave in others - and which of these am I willing to embody more boldly myself?
What is my soul calling to co-create with others that I could never achieve alone?
Where in my past have I settled for less in relationships or alliances? What did I believe about myself then - and what would I choose to believe now?
What would change in my life if I fully forgave myself and others for previous relationship disappointments?
In what area of my life am I waiting for someone else to lead, rather than initiating the connection or collaboration I want?
What would it look like to move from “hoping” for relationships to “knowing” that powerful, soulful connections are inevitable for me?
When do I feel most magnetic, charismatic, and able to inspire others? What environment, habits, or beliefs fuel this feeling?
What are three vows I can make to the Libra New Moon - one for how I’ll treat myself, one for how I’ll treat others, and one for how I’ll invite collaborative magic into my world?
How will I celebrate, nurture, and protect the flourishing of truly beautiful relationships in my life - starting right now?

Follow the Fun: A could-do list to invite the joy in
With Libra season in full swing there is a lot more fun to be had together with others rather than on our own. Whether with your bestie, your partner, or a family member, tap into the joyful Libra energy with any of these could-do activities:
Go to a concert, theatre performance or ballet. Libra energy enhances our appreciation of art and all that is beautiful.
If you’d rather take matters into your own hands, why not try a sip & paint evening with a friend? Sharing gossip (in a dignified way of course, which is very Libra) while creating something beautiful to keep, what’s not to love?
Have an at-home spa day. Get crafty making your own face masks or treat yourself to a little haul, then set the mood with candles and peaceful music while you pamper yourself like the Venusian goddess you are.
Host a dinner party. Libra’s appreciation for balance and harmony translates into the kitchen as well, refining our palates and making it easier to create dishes in which every ingredient sings. All the better when you get to enjoy them in great company.
Send a handwritten letter or postcard to a loved one. In times of instant digital communication, receiving something physical in the post feels extra special and delightful. Make someone’s day with this tangible token of your love and appreciation.
Go thrifting. Libra energy is like a sixth fashion sense and will help you spot those special one-of-a-kind pieces from miles away.
How I’m Living This

Sometimes the global astrology and our personal transits can be at odds with each other. With the Sun and Venus in Libra we are invited to harmonise and balance, however my personal transits are all unequivocally saying GO GO GO!
I’m using this Libra New Moon to remind myself that sometimes resting is productive and pampering myself with a ritual bath and an at home spa day. It’s from a place of stillness that the best new ideas are born, after all.
Libra falls in my 10th house of career and reputation, so I will also be taking some time to set powerful intentions around what I want out of my career and my public work. Whenever we have a New or Full Moon in an Air Sign, I love to honour it with a longer breathwork session. I found a balancing one on my favourite breathwork app Othership which suits the energy perfectly. And of course, I can’t wait to sit down and reflect on this issue’s journal prompts for the New Moon - they truly are powerful.
I hope you enjoyed this issue and have a blessed, abundant New Moon. Please do let me know your experiences with any of the tools and techniques presented here, either by email on chrissy@apeaceofchrissy or over on my Instagram - I love to hear about your own findings!
Remember that we can only go so deep in a format like this - if you’re ready for personalised insights and a whole toolkit to help you step into the highest and best version of yourself based on your unique natal chart, I invite you to book a 1:1 session with me through my website.
Until next week, happy manifesting! ✨
