Happy spooky season everyone!

With the clocks going back last weekend we are now firmly situated in the cold and dark half of the year. As it gets darker outside and the Sun moves through Scorpio while other planets beeline for Sagittarius, we may find ourselves with a stronger than ever desire to explore. Explore our own depths, our lineage, our shadows, but also explore new philosophies, new cultures and new places on earth.

This week’s manifestation tip taps into this desire to explore and discover and speaks of a technique I have found to be highly potent for manifesting just about anything, but that doesn’t get talked about much in the online space.

As the Full Moon falls in the sign of Taurus this time, it makes it a highly potent time for manifestations, so this week’s journal prompts are hefty, but very very powerful. If you have the time, I highly encourage you to work through all of them - but if you only have a bit of time to dedicate to this, feel free to pick and choose the ones that speak to you. These are juicy and very effective questions.

Sending you lots of love for the weeks ahead,

Chrissy

As Above So Below: What’s Happening from October 28 - November 11

October 28: Mars in Scorpio trines Jupiter in Cancer for a boost of energy and motivation. We may become fiercely protective of those we care about and feel compelled to take action in order to create a better world for them.

October 29: Mercury moves into Sagittarius. Our minds open up to new perspectives and higher wisdom. Conversations start centring around big ideas, philosophy, religion, travel or higher education.

November 2: Venus in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries. Situations where we’ve been minimising ourselves too much in order to keep the peace could boil over.

November 4: Mars moves into Sagittarius awakening a spirit of adventure. We become eager to try out new activities and travel to far-away lands.

November 5: A Full Moon in Taurus means it’s time to release any old stubborn patterns and fears of moving forward. We are being pushed out of our comfort zones.

November 6: Venus moves into Scorpio awakening the darker side of femininity. Themes of seduction and temptation could come up. Relationship passion is ignited but even the best-kept secrets could suddenly come out into the open.

November 8: Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus. This could mean big, revolutionary news around themes of property and finance (including crypto) heralding in the end of an era.

November 9: Mercury retrograde begins in the sign of Sagittarius. In addition to the usual brain fog, miscommunication and tech glitches, this one invites us to dig deep into our own psyche. Thoughts that come bubbling up to the surface may initially surprise you.

November 11: Jupiter stations retrograde in the sign of Cancer. There’s a temporary pause in the universe handing out free lunches, but don’t let that discourage you. Instead, be prepared to reap the fruits of your labour and be rewarded for that which you’ve been working hard for.

Working with the Moon

Early November’s Full Moon in Taurus, also known as ‘The Beaver Moon’, promises to be a spectacular one. This will be the biggest Super Moon of the year, set to illuminate the skies even more than usual.

Astrologically, we are also observing a double-kite formation at the time, although neither the Sun nor the Moon are getting directly involved in it. Essentially, it’s the time around this Full Moon that’s set to be deeply emotional and downright revolutionary, but the date of the Full Moon itself promises a lot of illumination and clarity about our values that comes about as a result of these emotionally choppy waters.

Emotions have been running deep already since before Scorpio season started and the intensity is only ramping up. Yet any insights or events around the Full Moon promise to be unrelated to the current emotional climate and bring about something unexpected or surprising.

Taurus rules our values, finances, property, sensuality and creature comforts. The Full Moon is an invitation to review where an update may be required regarding what it is that we value, making this an important time in our manifestation practice.

By letting go of what we no longer value - whether they be material objects, beliefs, ideas, or relationships - we are creating space to invite in more of what we do. There’s a dual action that needs to take place here. Release what’s no longer of value, but at the same time create intentions around what you want to fill that now empty space with. It’s the perfect opportunity to become highly intentional about the path you are about to take.

Some fun ways to honour this Full Moon include:

  • Wearing green, gold, brown or copper - or lighting a candle of that colour

  • Walking barefoot in nature to promote grounding and tapping into the Earth element of this moon

  • Burning sage or drinking mint tea

  • Taking a warm bath with the scent of ylang-ylang, whether from an oil, a bath bomb, a candle, or even some dried or fresh petals if you can get them

  • Keeping a green aventurine crystal nearby, or wearing it in jewellery

  • Cooking a delicious meal with lots of fresh herbs

Manifestation Technique of the Week

This week we’re discussing one of my very favourite manifestation techniques that doesn’t get anywhere near enough discussion: travelling.

Travel is something many people are trying to manifest, whether that’s to a particular location, or just the freedom to travel whenever and wherever they want in general. But what many don’t know is that travel in and of itself is a powerful booster to your inherent manifestation abilities. Here’s why.

In order for us to manifest anything, we have to believe - to our core - that it’s possible for this thing/person/situation to be in our lives. On a more meta level, that means that we have to believe in general, that a change of our circumstances is possible. If you have been living in the same place for 10 years, going to the same job in the same car, following the same daily routine, then it’s very difficult for your subconscious mind to believe that a radical change is possible in your life. You get stuck in the same patterns, attracting more of the same things you are experiencing day in and day out.

The easiest way to break this pattern is by travelling. Travelling totally disrupts your daily routine and places you in totally different surroundings. It gives your brain the signal that your reality, your outer circumstances, are malleable. That they can change, in some instances dramatically, from just making one single decision and following through on it.

There are a few caveats to this, of course. For one, the destinations that you travel to should push you a little out of your comfort zone. If you’ve been holidaying in the same place at the same hotel for the last couple of years, that’s not breaking routine. If anything, it’s reinforcing it.

Secondly, you will gain a lot more benefit from travelling if you make sure that you are present throughout. Truly take in your surroundings - the sights, the smells, the sounds. Be curious about how things are done and how people live in this new place. Be curious about the foods, the music, the architecture and the culture. Going to a new destination that pushes you out of your comfort zone will make this easier as we’re naturally more present when we are in totally different surroundings. Don’t just hide in a hotel room, go out, explore and interact with your new reality, even if it’s only a temporary one.

The Full Moon in Taurus invites us to let go of things that have become mundane, routine, that we’ve been stubbornly clinging on to for comfort. Even if an exotic vacation isn’t feasible right now, there are other ways to tap into this energy that can be just as powerful. Rearrange the furniture in your home, take a different route to work, or visit somewhere in your local area that you’ve never been to. Get a bus or train ticket to someplace you don’t normally go to and explore. The more drastic the change you want to manifest in your life, the more drastic you should make the changes to your surroundings, but these are already a great way to start. The key thing is to be present and to observe how your lived experience doesn’t have to be defined by sameness, but has the potential to change whenever you want it to change.

Journal Prompts

Taurus Full Moon Journal Prompts

The Taurus Full Moon offers a perfect opportunity to ground your dreams into reality and release what’s blocking your abundance. It’s one of the most powerful lunations for manifestation because it combines the completion energy of the Full Moon with Taurus’ mastery of material abundance, stability and sensory fulfilment.

This moon teaches us that true abundance is both spiritual and material - it’s feeling wealthy in your soul while also having financial security, beautiful surroundings, and a body you love. Both dimensions are asking to be honoured.

Scorpio season values depth and so these prompts go very deep. If you can’t commit to using all of the journal prompts, just pick 1 or 2 from each section based on whichever ones call out to you the most.

Use these prompts on the Full Moon, or up to 2 days before or after. Find a quiet space, light a candle, and let your truth flow onto the page.

Section 1: Gratitude & Abundance Recognition

Gratitude is the foundation of all manifestation. You cannot receive more of what you don’t acknowledge having.

  1. List 20 forms of abundance currently present in your life. Go beyond money - include relationships, health, opportunities, skills, beauty, safety, time and resources you often take for granted.

  2. Reflect on the past 6 months.l What have you built, earned, learned, or accumulated (materially, emotionally, or spiritually) that demonstrates your ability to create abundance?

  3. Describe 5 sensory pleasures you’re grateful for right now. What can you see, touch, taste, smell, or hear that brings you joy?

Section 2: Releasing Blocks to Abundance

Full Moons are for release. Taurus specifically asks you to release scarcity mindset, unworthiness, and beliefs that block material and emotional abundance.

  1. What limiting beliefs about money, worthiness, or abundance did you inherit from your family or culture? Write them all out - even the uncomfortable ones.

  2. What habits, relationships, situations, or thought patterns are draining your resources (time, money, energy, joy) without giving back?

  3. How does comparison to others block your ability to recognise and celebrate your own abundance? Where are you letting jealousy or envy dim your light?

Section 3: Clarifying Your Desires

Manifestation demands specificity. Vague wishes create vague results. Get crystal clear on what you actually want.

  1. If you were living your most abundant life 6 months from now, what would be different? Be specific and sensory: What does your home look, smell and feel like? What’s your daily routine? How much money is in your bank account? What are you wearing? Who are you spending time with? How does your body feel? What work are you doing?

  2. What experiences, items, or lifestyle elements would bring you pure pleasure and joy? Not because they’re practical, but simply because they delight your senses and soul?

  3. What do you value most deeply? (Security, beauty, freedom, creativity, connection, growth, contribution, admiration…) How do your current abundance goals align with these core values? If they don’t, how can you adjust your desires to feel truly fulfilling?

Section 4: Manifesting with Practical Magic

Taurus energy is earthy and reminds us that manifestation requires grounded action and not just devout visualisation.

  1. What resources do you already have that can support your manifestation? (Skills, connections, knowledge, assets, time, tools…)

  2. What structures, systems, or routines do you need to establish to support sustainable abundance?

  3. Taurus teaches that good things take time. Where in your manifestation journey do you need to cultivate more patience and trust in the process? How can you enjoy the journey instead of just fixating on the destination?

Section 5: Self-Worth & Embodiment

Taurus rules self-worth and the physical body. Your ability to receive abundance is directly tied to how worthy you feel and how much you honour your physical vessel.

  1. Complete this: “I am worthy of abundance because I am…” List at least 10 reasons.

  2. What luxurious, sensory self-care practices can you commit to regularly? (Massage, baths, quality skincare, soft fabrics, gourmet meals, nature walks…)

  3. How comfortable are you with receiving (compliments, gifts, help, money, love)? Where do you deflect or minimise? How can you practise receiving more gracefully?

Section 6: Integration & Commitment

Seal your manifestation practice with clear intentions and committed action.

  1. Write a powerful manifestation statement in present tense that captures your abundant reality: "I am now living in complete abundance. I have [specific details]. I feel [emotions]. I am worthy, grounded, and prosperous in every area of my life.

  2. What are you ready to surrender and trust the universe to handle? Where can you release control and allow divine timing?

  3. How will you celebrate when your manifestations arrive? Get specific and plan the moment. Feel into it.

Bonus: Advanced Prompts for Deep Work
  1. What patterns of scarcity, struggle, or limitation have been passed down through your family lineage? How can you be the one who breaks these cycles and creates a new abundance legacy?

  2. What parts of you are afraid of success, wealth, or visibility? What would you have to give up or change if you became truly abundant?

  3. When you’re living in overflow, how will you share your abundance with others? What causes, people, or communities will you support?

Following the Fun - A Could-do List for late October / early November

Best not to make any grand plans while the cosmic energies are powerful and volatile, but here are a few ideas for the next two weeks. Good things happen when you follow the fun!

  • Plan a Halloween dinner party using fresh local produce - pumpkins and root vegetables are great right now!

  • Learn how to make Latte art at home

  • Enjoy longer evenings with a mystery movie marathon. You choose your level of scary, from psychological horror to cozy gothic

  • Celebrate Scorpio season by learning how to read tarot cards or treating yourself to a deck of oracle cards

  • Visit a local museum or archeological site. Scorpio celebrates diving deep into the roots of our ancestry and the land we live on

  • Take a night photography class and learn how to take stunning images of the stars, the moon or any mysterious space objects

  • Visit a botanical garden or a beautiful park in your area - we usually associate this type of activity with spring, but there are many beautiful plants that are at their height in autumn too

  • In keeping with the theme of this newsletter, plan an extravagant holiday to somewhere unusual. It may only be hypothetical for now, but this is how we get manifesting!

How I’m Living This

I really love this time of the year, as the Sun makes its way through a highly populated area of my natal chart from now until late January.

This full moon hits me in the area responsible for fun and romance, though, so it will be a time for me to work out where to let go of certain activities that used to be fun and are now more of a way for me to procrastinate. Unfortunately there are a few things that immediately spring to mind, so I guess this exercise is long overdue.

As for this week’s manifestation technique, I’ve taken this a step further and downloaded an extra calendar app onto my phone. Now every time I come across somewhere interesting to go, I immediately put it into my extra calendar, before the usual thoughts like “Oh but I don’t have time” or “Oh but that’s so expensive” have a chance to flood in.

This is basically my version of a similar technique taught by Abraham Hicks, as frequent and adventurous travel is part of the life I want to manifest. My calendar reminds me of all the fun things I have already planned while living my best life - it’s like an ongoing, time sensitive vision board. If this idea speaks to you, why not try it for yourself as well?

I hope you enjoyed this issue of the newsletter and I wish for all your manifestations to flood in like never before.

Until next time!
